Welcome: Abdulelah Yamani, Education Abroad Intern

AMIDEAST Education Abroad is happy to introduce our new intern, Abdulelah Yamani!

Abdulelah was born and raised in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Abdulelah tried to learn as much as he could about other parts of the world by traveling. Hoping to improve his language skills and learn more about the world, he decided to continue his education in the United States. After learning more about American culture while attending high school in Cincinnati, Ohio, Abdulelah decided he wanted to pursue a degree in international studies. Currently, Abdulelah is attending Xavier University majoring in Political Science and International Studies with a focus on Europe and the Middle East.

Currently, Abdulelah is taking multiple political science classes about international relations, history, and public relations. He aims to improve his global communication skills and become more knowledgeable of the history of the Middle East. Xavier University has given Abdulelah the opportunity to travel across the world witnessing the work of multinational companies and how they operate on a global scale.

This summer, Abdulelah is participating in the Academic Internship Program at The Washington Center. Through his internship at AMIDEAST Education Abroad, he hopes to expand his understanding of career development and to deepen knowledge of intercultural learning and language education. Next year, Abdulelah plans to graduate from Xavier University and continue his work with NGOs while finishing his master degree.
