"Short Highlights - Favorite Foods I Tried in Tunisia" by Mariam D.

During my time in Tunisia, I was able to try many different meals. The one dish that was recurring was the Couscous dish. The first meal I had in Tunisia was the Couscous dish. I was starving and famished as I disliked the airport food and was looking for great food to enjoy after a long flight. I must say, the couscous dish didn’t disappoint!

We started off with a savory soup and salad. Soon, Couscous with lamb was served. It was colorful, sweet, and sizzling.

On the last day of the trip, I had a fruit tartlet with a custard filling. As someone who dislikes cake or tart-like desserts, I was mind blown. The tartlet was flavorful, sweet and tangy because the fruit was glazed.
