Students are expected to attend and be on time for all regularly scheduled synchronous classes. Students should attend the class orientation for their individual classes and are required to attend the program orientation if they are taking the full semester.

For online courses, each hour counts as an absence. Students that have more than the permitted number of absences will have their grade lowered by one “mark” for each additional absence. Every unexcused absence results in an automatic grade lowering by one “mark.” Any arrival after 15 minutes to class counts as tardy and three late arrivals counts as an absence.

Quizzes and tests cannot be rescheduled. Requests for paper extensions should be submitted at least 24 hours before the due date. Students must provide a reason and in some cases supporting documents.

Please note that deadlines must be respected despite absences.
