Deep hues of blue devoured the city.
I was enamored in its beauty as we wandered through the streets.
Our steps are like strange flowing rivers. I cannot wait for what’s next.
This new life is unknown, but I always thrive on unfamiliarity.
I am so thankful for my girls. We laugh and we joke and take in the blue.
To the deep hues we are objects of beauty — just something to possess.
This is why I am a womanist on call, we all females must stress.
Intelligent AND beautiful, you will not forget. Day in and day out, I am something to fret.
To most unaware, I am a mere 20-year-old girl.
Little do they know that I will run this world.
