Virtual Learning Options with AMIDEAST EdAbroad

Given the uncertainty about autumn semesters both at home and abroad, AMIDEAST Education Abroad is developing hybrid programming for fall 2020 and beyond.

The hybrid semester combines faculty, Arabic instructors, expert guests, host community exchange partners, opportunities to engage in community-based learning, and staff from Morocco, Tunisia, Egypt, and Jordan. All courses are designed to foster collaboration among students onsite and in the virtual environment. Cultural exchange is embedded in each course and binds each program component together. The semester will be available as a whole and therefore constitute a discrete cohort, with individual courses and limited combinations of multiple courses open for enrollment to participants not enrolled in the full semester.

Students enrolling in the semester program, 11-credit, and 6-credit options are eligible for needs-based scholarships if they are currently enrolled in a post-secondary institution.
