Amman, the capital of Jordan, is a vibrant city with plenty of special places to grab the best cup of coffee. Not that the coffee is only tasty, but also most of these places make a great place to do your homework, read a book, socialize, or simply relax and enjoy your coffee.
In this blog post, I put together a list of places that you can spend quality and productive time while in town. These places are definitely worth a visit.
Almond Coffee House
Almond is one of the places where you can have a great coffee - especially lattes - with a variety of snack options. The place provides a great space in which you can get some of your homework done while enjoying the place. Almond has two branches; one on Mecca Street and the other on Rabieh.
Dimitri’s Coffee
Dimitri’s is one of the best local coffee houses where you can enjoy beverages with a welcoming smile from the staff. The place also offers a great and quite space to get some of your work done. Dimitri’s has four branches all around Amman, so you can choose the nearest branch to you and enjoy your coffee there.
QahwaBLK
If you want to enjoy good an affordable coffee, then QahwaBLK should be your next destination. The coffee house has a rich menu of beverages and snacks which are both affordable and tasty. The place has two branches in the heart of Amman, in Abdali and Abdoun.
Manara Arts and Culture
Well, this time it is not only about coffee, but also the fascinating view this center offers. Located in the heart of Weibdeh, this place is your escape to enjoy a calm evening or morning with a good cup of coffee and a piece of croissant.
Wild Jordan Center
With a breathtaking view overlooking the old city of Amman, you can enjoy a cup of cappuccino with an apple pie. While Wild Jordan Center makes a great place for studying or catching up with friends, the Center also supports eight of the surrounding nature reserves in Jordan which are all protected by the Royal Society for the Conservation of Nature. The place also provides a small shop in which you can find the most unique pieces in Amman, tasty teas, and homemade jams.
