"The Cats of Downtown" by Rebekah Shackelford
I painted this based off of photo I took of a little cat, fast asleep on the busy streets of Wasat Albalad (downtown). People were bustling by and she was sleeping there peacefully. There are so many cats in Amman, and as a cat person, I try to stop and get a photo of them or say hello when I can.
