"Zawiya Ahansal" by Connor Baldwin
At Zawiya Ahansal I saw a great tit, hiding in the trees. These birds are not native to North America, so it was cool to see it. Photo credit: Baldwin, 2023.
I liked this photo because of the contrast in the hill which has grass and bushes growing on it compared to the rocky mountains with snow. Photo credit: Baldwin, 2023.
I like this photo because it shows the texture and the details of the mountains very well. Photo credit: Baldwin, 2023.
Although it was cold standing outside, in the mornings you can catch a warm view of the mountains with the moon joining in on the photo. Photo credit: Baldwin, 2023.
Many times, walking through the village you had to yield to goats and let them pass before you could continue walking. Photo credit: Baldwin, 2023.
I think this is a very beautiful perspective of the mountains that towered over us, even when we hiked up to an overlook. Growing up I would hike the mountains in my home state of New Hampshire. Looking at the mountains reminds me of home and hiking with my father. Photo credit: Baldwin, 2023.
This photo really shows all the colors that were there to look at when walking around the town. Going five minutes away from where you were you could find yourself looking at an entirely different shade of the Earth. Photo credit: Baldwin, 2023.
This photo was taken when we were about to embark on our hike through the village to a neighboring town. I like this photo because of the darkness that we are starting in and how the trail leads us to the light of the mountains. Photo credit: Baldwin, 2023.
This photo I really like because it shows a complete look at the town and the mountains behind it. Many times, when we were walking around, I was awestruck by the fact that there were so many mountains that surrounded the town and how beautiful they were. Photo credit: Baldwin, 2023.
I think this shows another great perspective of the town. Since the town is built in a mountain range the town has many different dimensions. On one level there is a woman walking with laundry while another there is a man watching the world and at the bottom there are children playing football. Photo credit: Baldwin, 2023.
